Welcome to Mrs. Southerst's Fifth Grade Class

Welcome to Mrs. Southerst's Fifth grade class. It is my pleasure to welcome my 26th batch of students at Arturo Cantu Elementary.  With high expectations, I envision a successful school year. My Mission is to create a classroom culture based on qualities of service, hard work, and integrity.

 

Academically, we will continue with increased focus on Reading, Math, and Science. Belief in oneself and continuous practice are essential in learning. Combined with your support and supervision in the completion of all your child's assignments, we will have a high rate of success this school year.
